Johanna Pasilkar - April 2021

Johanna Pasilkar

Johanna Pasilkar is Project Management professional with knowledge of ICT, HR, Chemical, Defence and Telecommunications sectors. She has successfully delivered projects both in private and public sectors including international organizations, such as European Union institutions in Brussels. Johanna first became acquainted with PMI during her Master of Science studies in Boston University Metropolitan College and has recently received her PMP certification. Her early career started with telecommunications and defence. Being one of the first batch of women receiving military leadership training, she has served in several Finnish Defense Forces positions including peacekeeping mission to Kosovo. From those times she gained resilience and team-leading skills in hardship conditions, which are well suited for requirements of current project management world.

Johanna joined the Swiss Chapter for networking in multilingual setting and to get fresh perspectives and ideas from fascinating Chapter events. Her working languages are English, French, Swedish and Finnish. She is currently learning German and Hindi.

As a hobby, she plays tennis or Padel, depending on the prevailing snow conditions. She also learns folkloric and traditional world dances.

Johanna is currently Project Manager of GDPR MyData project based in Helsinki, Finland and guest speaker of MyData topics by German Ministry of Interior seminar and panelist of
the Next Generation Internet initiative by the Digital Single Market of the European Commission.

She is interested in leads and opportunities in Switzerland in the future.

Tiago Oliveira - April 2021

Tiago Oliveira

Tiago holds a bachelor’s degree in chemistry, MBAs in Project Management and Business Management. He has more than 15 years of professional experience in pharmaceutical industry R&D environment being 11 years in leading positions. Tiago is a passionate corporate entrepreneur, committed to taking the areas of his responsibility into a higher maturity level through strategic plans elaboration, execution and management always pursuing to bring value to the business and stakeholders. He holds PSM I (scrum.org) and PMP (PMI) credentials.

Tiago has worked in 2 of the biggest and more profitable pharmaceutical industries in Brazil, EMS S/A and Aché Laboratories, being in the last one in the role of R&D Manager responsible for API technical documentation, Preformulation and Packaging Development. Within these 3 areas Tiago managed a multidisciplinary team of more than 30 analysts and researchers in more than 300 projects of new product development and post approval endeavors.

Last but no least, Tiago has led 2 major projects: the startup of Aché Laboratories´ Preformulation Lab and the Packaging Development department turnaround.

Both projects covered strategic and tactical end-to-end including:

  • cultural changes
  • team building
  • technical and management process reviews
  • laboratories construction.

Tiago is looking forward to building a fruitful network environment and to dive into a new multicultural experience in project management, improving skills mainly in the Agile world.

Dr. Diederik Paul Moeys - April 2021

Diederik Paul Moeys

Dr. Diederik Paul Moeys is a senior research engineer at Sony Research center Zurich, where he leads and contributes to projects on silicon retinas, neuromorphic hardware, and artificial intelligence. Before, he was a chip designer for high-speed data converter at Miromico AG.

He received his PhD from ETH Zurich, jointly for electronic engineering and neuroscience. He had previously received the MEng degree in electronic engineering from University College London, UK in 2013, together with the Goldsmid Faculty Medal, the IET Prize, and the IET Postgraduate Scholarship.

He just passed his PMP exam in December and looks forward to connecting with members.

Ayham Zaza - March 2021

Ayham Zaza

An enthusiastic scientist and an inquisitive engineer with special experience in handling multi-disciplinary projects! Passionate about creating ideas and executing them. Ready to tailor my rare cocktail of knowledge to grow as a professional and to innovate.

Ayham is currently joining a leading biotech company as a Senior Machine Learning/Image Processing Engineer. Before that, he was a Postdoc researcher and an active member of the German Liver Systems Medicine Network (LiSyM) where he deployed his skills and knowledge in (Artificial Intelligence, Medical Image Analysis and High-Performance Computing) in contributing to making future personalized medications and studying various liver diseases.
In addition to (PMP)®, Ayham obtained many certificates with more than 30+ practical projects in: Self-Driving Cars, Artificial Intelligence, Deep Learning, Computer Vision, Natural Language Processing, Machine Learning, Biology and Programming.

While working towards obtaining his Ph.D. in Computer Science, he simulated a high-Performance CUDA based parallel 3D black-water oil reservoir model that mimics fluid flow and mass transfer in porous media. He also holds an M.Sc. degree in Medical Physics and a BSc. in Computer Engineering.

In his free time, Ayham gets lost in a good book. He enjoys discussing deep & challenging topics. He has interests in Art & calligraphy; likes playing chess and exploring distant lands.

Xinyu Yan - March 2021

Xinyu Yan

Xinyu Yan is a member of the PMI Swiss Chapter, and she recently gained her PMP certification in Switzerland. Xinyu works in the development sector with over three years of experience in sustainable development, youth employment and social inclusion. Xinyu is passionate about contributing to more inclusive and sustainable development through partnerships and social innovation.

Currently, Xinyu is a Technical Officer at the International Labour Organization, leading and supporting projects on catalyzing partnerships and knowledge management in youth employment. Her specialized areas including IT project management, stakeholder engagement and coordination in the context of development cooperation. Xinyu has experience in working with the private sector, United Nations organizations, the non-for-profit sector and governments. Her career goal is to bring in more innovation to the work of the organization to improve efficiency and agility of the technical cooperation.

Xinyu is grateful for being a member of the Swiss chapter, for the opportunity to be part of the professional community, to gain cross-cutting knowledge in project management and to learn from experts in the field.

Living in Geneva, Xinyu enjoys hiking, doing yoga and meeting people from various cultures and backgrounds. She is also keen on volunteering and giving back to the community.
