Frank van Lingen is a PMP-certified, technology, transformation, and innovation leader based in the Geneva–Lausanne region, with an international career spanning Switzerland, the United States, and the Netherlands. His expertise spans the full digital product and platform lifecycle, from strategy and innovation through architecture, development, and delivery to scaling and transformation, bridging technology and business.
Throughout his career, Frank has worked at organizations including CERN, Caltech, Cisco, Expedia Group, and the Swiss Broadcasting Corporation. He has led multidisciplinary teams and complex initiatives ranging from scientific data platforms and digital media systems to enterprise technology transformation and new business development. Across these roles, project and program management have been a recurring part of turning complex technical and business challenges into measurable outcomes.
Frank holds a PhD in Computer Science, an Engineering Doctorate in Software Architecture and Design, and a Master’s degree in Mathematics. More recently, he is complementing his technical experience with an MBA from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
As he looks toward the next chapter of his professional journey, Frank joined the PMI Switzerland Chapter to broaden his network, exchange experiences with professionals across industries, and engage with new challenges and perspectives. He is particularly interested in transformation and innovation initiatives where technology, data, AI, and organizational change come together, and in exploring how his experience can contribute in new environments.
Originally from the Netherlands, Frank has spent much of his career in international and multidisciplinary environments.
