Rebecca Theurich

Originally from Ghana, Rebecca lived in Nigeria, where she obtained a bachelor’s degree in Building Technology. Following this, she worked in real estate companies for eight years before relocating to Switzerland in 2017 to pursue a master’s degree in Facility Management at ZHAW Zurich, which she completed in 2021.

Rebecca has been working with Sodexo (Suisse) SA for four years. She began as an intern and, three years ago, transitioned to a project lead role within the project team, where she gained extensive knowledge in Project Management. In December 2023, she moved to support the Sodexo team at Thermofisher Lengnau, Switzerland, as a Document Manager. In this role, she works in cross-functional teams, supporting them with documentation and project delivery.

Rebecca appreciates working in a multidimensional environment, learning new skills, and contributing to delivering customer services. Currently, she is preparing to write her PMP exams to gain more experience in this field and advance her career. She joined PMI to broaden her scope and equip herself professionally and mentally with more skills, aiming to pursue a career in Project Management. Gaining knowledge and experience from the PMP exams will help her utilize her strengths and expertise in Project Management in a multicultural environment.

During her spare time, Rebecca enjoys spending time with her husband and son, reading books, and listening to music.

Swantje Thiering - March 2025

Swantje Thiering

Swantje is a chemist by training and has dedicated her career to the CDMO industry. Following a career start in chemical process development in Switzerland and the UK, she had the opportunity to move into project management, where she has found her true professional passion. Since then her career has been dedicated to establishing and harmonizing PM processes and practices across the site networks of global organizations, ensuring a framework that provides structure and transparency to internal and external customers, and developing customer centricity and service mindset. Working with customers to find solutions and coaching project managers and see them grow in their profession are two of the most rewarding aspects for Swantje.

Most recently, following 6 years at Novasep (now Axplora) responsible for the Project Management and Process Development functions of the CDMO business unit, Swantje has been leading the Project Management function at CordenPharma as global head of the Project Management organization and PMO. In this role, a major focus has been the design and implementation of a PM software entailing a comprehensive toolkit for projects and programs, customer facing dashboards and architecture for portfolio management and reporting.

Swantje is PMP certified since Dec 2015 and joined the PMI Switzerland chapter to learn more about PM experiences and practices in other industries and to build a network.

In her free time, Swantje enjoys running, skiing and hiking – in the Alps and in particular during her annual summer vacation in Iceland.

Roberta Sassu - March 2025

Roberta Sassu

Roberta is a skilled leader in the pharmaceutical industry, who integrates clinical development with business management. Holding a PhD in Neuroscience and specialized training from a leading business school, she is adept at driving innovative healthcare solutions.

As a Senior Global Program Manager in Precision Medicine at Novartis Pharma AG, Roberta focuses on Strategy, Portfolio Management, and Business Development, leveraging her extensive pharmaceutical industry experience.

Roberta dedicates her free time to exploring how innovative design can improve environments. She investigates the intersection of neuroscience and architecture while actively seeking new business opportunities aimed at optimizing space and time through creative design and digital solutions.

She joined the PMI Switzerland Chapter to connect with like-minded professionals and advance project management practices in healthcare, furthering her contributions to both science and business.

Andrea Aragona - March 2025

Andrea Aragona

Andrea currently serves as the Head of Technical Development and has a strong background in project and cost management, particularly in data centers and large-scale infrastructure projects. Over the years, Andrea has worked on complex developments, overseeing cost planning, procurement strategies, stakeholder coordination, and construction oversight to ensure efficient project execution.

Andrea joined the PMI Switzerland Chapter to expand his professional network, gain deeper insights into the evolving landscape of project management, and contribute his expertise in cost control, sustainability, and technological innovation in the built environment. In the long term, Andrea aspires to move up the executive ladder, working towards Director or C-level roles where he can drive strategic decision-making at a broader scale.

To support this journey, Andrea is currently preparing to pass the CAPM certification exam, with the goal of obtaining the PMP certification later on. He strongly believes in continuous learning and professional development and looks forward to leveraging PMI’s resources to strengthen his project management expertise.

Beyond his professional career, Andrea is an avid reader with a strong financial background and a passion for analysing companies' financials and investments. In his free time, he enjoys playing the Celtic Harp, Irish folk music, outdoor sports, and swimming. Edoardo Bordin - March 2025

Edoardo Bordin

Mechanical engineer with 10+ years of experience in project management. Edoardo specializes in supporting business performances and market growth. Sustains R&D strategies and enhance Sales to stimulate market demand and efficiently improve internal dynamicity. Enjoys challenging projects and environments. Performs at best when empowered to organize company’s resources on a goal-based plan.

Professionally grown in Switzerland, Edoardo is currently dedicating his experience to the sustainable mobility sector, as commercial project manager for Stadler Rail AG, a Swiss company with more than 80 years of history, leader in the production of railway vehicles with its HQ in Bussnang, Thurgau.

Edoardo starts his career by developing miniature drive systems and is passionate about product development and customer care. Edoardo soon finds himself managing important projects in the medical, aerospace and defense industry; projects that lead him to travel around the world and to appreciate the diversity of cultures and customs of nations. After spending few years abroad, Edoardo returned to Switzerland in 2022 and decided to join PMI Switzerland to share his knowledge and be part of a growing family with the common goal of advancing excellence and professionalism in project management.
