Sabrina Correia

Sabrina Correia is a multilingual project manager in marketing and communication with over 10 years of experience across corporate, UN organizations, and NGOs. She holds a Bachelor’s in Business Administration from Jean Moulin Lyon 3 University and a Master’s in Marketing & Communications from ECEMA Business School. Having grown up attending French international schools, she has lived in Algeria, the United States, France, the UK, and now Switzerland.

Throughout her career, she has led a wide range of projects, including international auto shows, the launch of the first automotive plant in Algeria, digital transformation programs, and CRM software implementations.

Passionate about diversity and inclusion, she collaborated with a London-based charity recognized with The Queen’s Award for Voluntary Service. She thrives on solving problems, making data and CRM tools meaningful and accessible, and is currently developing her expertise in the Salesforce ecosystem.

Sabrina joined PMI Switzerland to connect with like-minded professionals who value continuous learning. She recently achieved her PMP certification and has also attended AI courses at HEG Geneva to broaden her skills.

Andrea Zimara - September 2025

Andrea Zimara

Andrea Zimara is a Project Manager with a strong academic and professional background in biomedical and industrial engineering. He holds both a Bachelor’s and a Master’s degree in Biomedical Engineering from the Politecnico di Torino, and enriched his studies with a semester abroad at the Université de Technologie de Compiègne in France.

Andrea’s career began in the healthcare sector, where he focused his master’s thesis and internship on applying machine learning and AI algorithms to diagnostic applications. His work included mammography image analysis and the development of a wearable device for hand gesture recognition—early indicators of his passion for technological innovation.

He later transitioned into the semiconductor industry with Vishay Intertechnology Inc., where he worked as a Market Development Engineer. In this role, he gained experience in product management and was first introduced to project management through specialized courses and hands-on practice. Most recently, Andrea entered the steel industry with Cogne Acciai Speciali SpA, where he currently works in the Engineering Department’s Project Management Office, overseeing both maintenance and investment projects.

In July 2025, Andrea earned his CAPM® certification, marking a significant milestone in his professional journey. With a keen interest in digitalization, innovation, and evolving project management methodologies, he is now preparing to pursue the PMP® certification as his next goal.

Andrea joined the PMI Switzerland Chapter to connect with an international network of professionals, exchange knowledge, and strengthen his skills in a dynamic and collaborative environment. Living in the Alps, he sees the Chapter as a gateway to broaden his horizons, build meaningful relationships, and grow within Switzerland’s vibrant project management community.

Damien Guillouët - September 2025

Damien Guillouët

Damien has been active in the digital world for over 13 years, currently serving as both a Project Manager and Business Analyst, depending on the nature of the projects he supports. He values the balance between these two complementary roles, which allow him to approach challenges from both strategic and analytical perspectives.

Employed by a major Swiss IT company, Damien works on digital transformation initiatives for a diverse range of clients. Over the past five years, he has contributed to projects for the United Nations and other NGOs, acting as either PM or BA. His strength lies in communication and facilitation, bridging the gap between business teams, IT departments, and external vendors. He thrives in international environments, where collaboration and cross-cultural understanding are key to success.

Damien recently joined the PMI Switzerland Chapter as part of his journey toward professional certification. Having earned his PMP® certification just in July, he is eager to participate in chapter events, connect with fellow professionals, and explore how he can both benefit from and contribute to the community.

Outside of work, Damien enjoys indulging in Franco-Belgian comic books, a passion that fuels his creativity. He is also a dedicated scuba diver, diving whenever the opportunity arises and finding joy in the adventure of the underwater world.

Mitra Kharazmi - September 2025

Mitra Kharazmi

Dr. Mitra Kharazmi brings over 20 years of project management experience across the full product life cycle—ranging from early development to commercial-scale manufacturing and supply, both in-house and externally, as well as M&A integration and phase-out—within global life sciences companies.

With a background in science, engineering, and business, and holding a PMP® certification since 2013, she is a seasoned practitioner known for leading complex initiatives with strategic insight and operational excellence.

She is passionate about delivering value and solving complex challenges by creating a clear vision, developing agile roadmap plans, and harnessing the collective intelligence of high-performing cross-functional teams.

She has recently acquired PSPO I (Professional Scrum Product Owner) and PAL I (Professional Agile Leadership) certifications and is versed in both agile and waterfall methodologies.

Currently in transition, she is exploring her next professional opportunity in Switzerland. She has joined the local chapter to expand her professional network and to contribute through volunteering activities within the project management community.

In her free time, she enjoys spending time in nature, practicing yoga and mindfulness as well as reading and travelling.

Jim Huxter - September 2025

Jim Huxter

Jim’s professional journey began in the field of education, and his passion for learning and development has remained a constant throughout his career. He started by teaching in classrooms across the UK before joining EF Education First, where he spent five years honing his skills—first as a teacher, and later as a Quality Assurance and Training Manager.

During his time at EF, Jim led impactful projects aimed at improving operational efficiency and enhancing the onboarding experience for new teachers. He played a key role in streamlining the handling of customer complaints and preparing hundreds of educators for a major system transition. His contributions also included developing training materials and organizing professional development events. In addition to his core responsibilities, Jim served as a Diversity, Equity, and Belonging Ambassador, reflecting his commitment to inclusive and supportive work environments.

Now, Jim is pursuing the next chapter of his career in project management, building on his strong foundation in training and change management. He is complementing his practical experience with formal qualifications and is currently preparing for the Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) exam, with plans to pursue the PMP® certification. His decision to join the PMI Switzerland Chapter stems from a desire to connect with professionals who are equally passionate about driving meaningful change within organizations and society at large.

Outside of work, Jim thrives on creativity. He has performed at the renowned Edinburgh Fringe comedy festival and he runs Dungeons & Dragons sessions professionally for children. Whether on stage or around a gaming table, he embraces opportunities to think outside the box and solve problems in imaginative ways.
