Leebrain Mukomberanwa, PMP®, is a Senior Technical Consultant and Programme Manager based in the Basel area. With a background in Aerospace Engineering, he specialises in data integration, digital transformation, and agentic AI delivery across enterprise environments in EMEA.
Leebrain currently leads integration and AI delivery programmes at Jitterbit Professional Services, governing complex multi-vendor transformation programmes across logistics, FinTech, hospitality, eCommerce, and non-profit sectors. His work sits at the intersection of business and technology, translating ambiguous business requirements into governed technical delivery that produces measurable commercial outcomes. He also runs Pulsera Tech, an independent consultancy helping mid-market businesses connect their systems, automate their operations, and govern AI adoption across EMEA and African emerging markets. His background spans more than 30 programmes across over 10 countries, from architecting the technology stack powering a live hospitality product in Soho, London, to governing pan-European regulatory compliance integration for manufacturing clients.
Leebrain joined PMI Switzerland at a deliberate point in his career. Based in the Basel area, he is actively building his professional presence and network in Switzerland. He wanted to connect with the senior project management and transformation community in Basel and Zurich, and to contribute to a chapter that takes project management seriously as a strategic discipline, not only as a delivery function. Switzerland’s concentration of global enterprises across pharma, logistics, financial services, and manufacturing makes the chapter particularly relevant to where he wants to take his career and consultancy.
Leebrain moved to Switzerland for family reasons; he and his partner have a seven-month-old child, and Basel has been a wonderful place for them to put down roots. Outside of work and family life, he trains regularly through full-body workouts and swimming.
Leebrain is also a Formula 1 fan, though perhaps not in the way most people watch it. What draws him in is the engineering strategy, the real-time decision-making under pressure, and the programme management happening simultaneously on and off the track. He considers Formula 1 one of the most complex multidisciplinary delivery environments in the world and finds it endlessly fascinating from that perspective.
Leebrain has been captivated by mega construction projects since primary school in Harare, Zimbabwe. Watching programmes covering large-scale infrastructure builds is a hobby that has stayed with him throughout his life and likely explains why he built a career around complex, multi-stakeholder delivery. As a Zimbabwean by origin, he also has a genuine interest in African emerging markets and technology infrastructure. He is building GlobalMigrate, a passion project focused on global migration decision support, as a long-term initiative alongside his consultancy work.
Leebrain is an avid Notion user and has built his entire personal and professional workflow on the platform since 2021. He also enjoys cooking, particularly Korean and African recipes.
