Empowering Impact: PMI Switzerland Supports Social Responsibility Through Project Management Training

Project management isn’t just a professional skill — it’s a social enabler.

PMI Switzerland has been proudly partnering with purpose-driven organizations, Like Bevel ON Associaltion to offer training that empowers individuals, strengthens communities, and builds the foundation for long-term impact.

Recent training for Bevel ON Capacity Building Programme, an initiative that supports skilled professionals — many of whom are in transition — to reskill, rebuild confidence, and relaunch their careers.

Why This Matters

At PMI Switzerland, we believe in the transformative power of project management. It helps organizations run more efficiently, but it also helps people structure ideas, manage uncertainty, and bring meaningful projects to life — whether they are launching a business, re-entering the workforce, or leading community initiatives.

By offering free and structured project management training to social partners like Bevel ON, we invest in more than skill-building: we invest in human potential.

A Model of Empowering Transitions

The Bevel ON Capacity Building Programme offers a 3-month journey for professionals navigating career shifts. With over 220  graduates and strong employment outcomes, it’s a natural ally in our shared mission of capacity building through knowledge and coaching.

Bevel ON focuses on:

  • Personal agility, career reinvention, and upskilling
  • Real-world readiness with mentoring, case work, and entrepreneurship modules
  • Supporting skilled professionals (especially expats, newcomers, and women) to reconnect with the Swiss labor market

PMI Switzerland  collaboration with Bevel ON is a perfect example of social impact in action — using PMI knowledge as a bridge between potential and opportunity.

This collaboration reflects that  project management is a tool for inclusion, empowerment, and dignity. By training individuals outside of corporate settings — people in transition, in new countries, or at career crossroads — we extend the benefits of our profession to those who need it most.
