She spent 17 years in business operations managing teams and running projects in various industries and multiple countries across Latin America and Africa, where she lived for 8 years working for multinational companies, before relocating to Geneva in 2016.

For quite some time she was willing to structure and formalize her project management skills and methodology and eventually add value to her profile, but found it challenging between business travel and family life.
But as life’s unexpected events are always a good reason to take a step back and think different, when her last role ended for economic reasons in October 2018, she immediately took this opportunity to dedicate herself to preparing for the PMP certification, while defining her next career step … And let’s be honest, also finally enjoying the benefits of living at the feet of the Jura mountains.

Certified in February, she is now actively looking for her next role in the Geneva market and participating to all kinds of networking events, workshops and development opportunities to increase her chances for success. This is also why she decided to join the PMI Switzerland chapter.

Agathe Bolli

Author: Alp Camci, PMP

Agathe was working at UBS in sustainable investing, covering different stages of the product/advisory life cycle for the past 17 years. Next to her “official” roles in research or advisory, Agathe always managed smaller projects on the side, driven by the need to have data, tools and standards available to be able to push sustainable investing within the bank and offer clients a professional service. Doing the PMP certification has provided her with a better theoretical basis for how to approach projects and joining the Swiss Chapter surely will offer good opportunities for networking and sharing experiences.

After a little break, spending a bit more time with her family and following through with some “bucket list” goals like running a marathon (though her favorite sports remains cross country skiing), Agathe is now keen to apply her knowledge in sustainability/sustainable investing and project management in her next job.
