Staffan Jönsson

Staffan is Swedish by origin but have lived in Switzerland for over 25 years now. He has been in the Swiss Chapter of PMI before, and even arranged a PMI event at Alstom's factory in Birr, but that was a long time ago. Just recently, Staffan started his own company, Odin Projects GmbH, a consulting firm focused on Project Management. He has 30 years of experience in the chemical, energy industries, where he has done everything from R&D projects to full turnkey Power Plants globally. His focus is on the strategic part of project management, the Project Management Office role. Staffan is motivated by teamwork and a sustainable future, and had a wonderful volunteering experience this summer with Global Himalayan Expedition, powering a remote Himalayan village with solar micro grids.

In his spare time Staffan likes to be outdoors, hiking, biking or skiing, and spend time with friends and family, enjoying good food and a glass of wine.

Joaquim Creus Prats

Joaquim is originally from Barcelona. He has been working in Switzerland for 3 years after taking position as Integration leader for the DUNE prototype cryogenics at CERN. He previously led a Japanese-Spanish team to develop a magnetic drive vial loading system for industrial freeze driers. Joaquim previously contributed to the engineering efforts to build bespoke thermal vacuum chambers used in the spacecraft parts qualification process. At University he took a Mechanical Engineering Master, achieving to coordinate the student society 2011 Solar Endeavour UPC project that broke the Spanish record for solar drone flight endurance.

After joining the PMI, he decided to take part in the Swiss chapter to continue learning and expand his network in the Zurich Area, where he is looking for new opportunities for 2019. Still an engineering nut, he is a finance enthusiast being President of CERN Finance Club. Joaquim is fluent in English, French, Spanish, German and Catalan.

Joaquim enjoys browsing through planning the exploration of the Swiss Alps both in summer and winter.

Marco Crescenzi

Marco is specialized in the aeronautical industry.
In his private time, Marco is a marathon runner, plays the piano and likes reading essays and good books.
Marco joined the Swiss chapter because he believes sharing knowledge and experiences is the faster way to grew as professionals. Furthermore, networking and communities to him are real engines of countries development.

Thomas Geiger

Thomas is working in Banking and Asset/ Wealth Management for Banks and several consulting companies for almost 31 years where in the last 15 years he worked in the role of Program or Project Lead for mid- and large sized programs/ projects. He was working for 6 months in Asia (mainly Tokyo at HQ of NTT DATA) and thereby felt in love with Japanese precision and reliability.

Thomas is working for NTT DATA Switzerland as Head of Consulting Service. In this role, he is responsible for the delivery and maintenance of national and international customer relations. His passion for IT is shown in the definition and care of the consulting portfolio as well as in the business development processes of innovative topics.

Method wise Thomas was oriented to IPMA (Level B – Senior Project Manager) and he wanted to know more about the PMI method and would like to exchange with colleagues about using different methods/ tools, therefore he joined the PMI Swiss Chapter.

Thomas is a football fan for Bayern Munich and Grashoppers and plays tennis for more than 40 years. He is a passionate American football fan since he was playing as Quaterback in an amateur team.

Thomas loves to travel around especially within Switzerland and the rest of Europe.

Matthew Trustram

Matthew came to project management via arts broadcasting where he manages virtual teams to produce international co-productions of live TV events. He joined the PMI Swiss chapter upon obtaining the PMI certification in 2018 to network and share best practice with others in related fields. Outside of work he enjoys doing whatever his two small children tell him to.

Patrick Boegli

Patrick is a Swiss living near Zurich. His jobs were mainly in automotive, aero motive and energy industries (doing plant engineering & construction), where he started as a field service engineer. Later on Patrick became a project manager in those areas in several Swiss based companies. He had a lot of business trips and stayed for huge projects also over months in big cities such as New York, Singapore, Hong Kong, Jakarta, Tokyo, Shanghai and many more. The highlight of this period was living and working for nearly two years in Singapore.
Since almost two years Patrick have moved from plant engineering & construction into ICT business. First started as a project manager and shortly after became the departments head as "Head of Project Management" for software and hardware projects in public railways section.
His hobbies are sports in general, traveling and being a fire fighter in the local fire brigade.

Since Patrick is already IPMA certified, by joining PMI he wanted to know more about other PM methodologies. Having found PMI and started studying about it, he was amazed about the methods and thought let’s give it a try. Now Patrick would like to use this powerful network to learn more and widening his background as head of project management.

Having a broad technical background, Christian holds degrees in Business Engineering and IT Project Management, and now also became PMP certified. After a few years with Swiss National Television, he joined Credit Suisse's eLearning department in 1999. Since then, he is working on creating, expanding and managing the infrastructure, tools and processes around eLearning in many projects, including the implementation of a globally available Learning Management System.

After almost 20 years with Credit Suisse, Christian will move on soon to head up the Competence Center Digital Learning of the largest Swiss retail company.

In his free time, Christian enjoys spending time with his family, hiking in the Swiss alps, or relaxing with a good book.

Yonca Bassoy

Yonca holds a PhD degree in Oncology/Immunology and recently worked as a postdoctoral scientist at University of Geneva. Previously, she worked seven years in hospitals as clinical biologist and two years in biopharma company as technical/sales product specialist. She joined PMI Swiss Chapter for her passion to continuous learning in project management practices and in return, delivering the highest quality clinical, business solutions to healthcare institutions and related healthcare organizations. Beside work, she likes cycling, hiking, traveling and drawing."

Jeff Thomas

Jeff has over 20 years experience in leading teams and driving digital projects in environments from startup to NGO. He is certified in ITIL, Scrum, and PMP and is not afraid to get his hands dirty digging into code, database design, or architecting a cloud infrastructure. Always looking to learn something new he is looking to increase his leadership and project management abilities and is excited to learn from the other Swiss chapter members. In his spare time, he takes courses on cutting-edge technologies, enjoys VTT, and hiking.

Parveen Jaswal

Parveen is a digital strategy enthusiast who brings more than ten years of rich IT Consulting and Project Management experience in various industry verticals with focus on Pharma and Life Sciences. He has proven expertise in understanding business needs, driving digital transformation and stakeholder management. He has proven skills in managing complex projects, handing multiple work streams and pre-sales activities in terms of multiple vendors and service lines within large multinational organizations.

He can take a large conceptual problem or project, break it into components, establish plans and a critical path, achieve incremental goals and deliver project on time. He is experienced in strategizing and leading cross-functional teams to bring about fundamental change and improvement in strategy, process, and profitability – both as a leader and expert consultant.

He possesses good understanding of technology and its alignment with business goals and objectives, large-scale systems deployment and tools for process/performance improvement. As a certified business analysis professional (CBAP) and Project Management Professional (PMP), he has in depth knowledge of different requirements analysis techniques used for bringing the business problems to surface and then finding a solution for them.

Parveen holds B.Tech from National Institute of Technology Hamirpur, India. He is currently working as Senior IT Consultant in Business Performance Practice (BPI) of Atos Consulting Switzerland.
