Mitra Kharazmi - September 2025

Mitra Kharazmi

Dr. Mitra Kharazmi brings over 20 years of project management experience across the full product life cycle—ranging from early development to commercial-scale manufacturing and supply, both in-house and externally, as well as M&A integration and phase-out—within global life sciences companies.

With a background in science, engineering, and business, and holding a PMP® certification since 2013, she is a seasoned practitioner known for leading complex initiatives with strategic insight and operational excellence.

She is passionate about delivering value and solving complex challenges by creating a clear vision, developing agile roadmap plans, and harnessing the collective intelligence of high-performing cross-functional teams.

She has recently acquired PSPO I (Professional Scrum Product Owner) and PAL I (Professional Agile Leadership) certifications and is versed in both agile and waterfall methodologies.

Currently in transition, she is exploring her next professional opportunity in Switzerland. She has joined the local chapter to expand her professional network and to contribute through volunteering activities within the project management community.

In her free time, she enjoys spending time in nature, practicing yoga and mindfulness as well as reading and travelling.

Jim Huxter - September 2025

Jim Huxter

Jim’s professional journey began in the field of education, and his passion for learning and development has remained a constant throughout his career. He started by teaching in classrooms across the UK before joining EF Education First, where he spent five years honing his skills—first as a teacher, and later as a Quality Assurance and Training Manager.

During his time at EF, Jim led impactful projects aimed at improving operational efficiency and enhancing the onboarding experience for new teachers. He played a key role in streamlining the handling of customer complaints and preparing hundreds of educators for a major system transition. His contributions also included developing training materials and organizing professional development events. In addition to his core responsibilities, Jim served as a Diversity, Equity, and Belonging Ambassador, reflecting his commitment to inclusive and supportive work environments.

Now, Jim is pursuing the next chapter of his career in project management, building on his strong foundation in training and change management. He is complementing his practical experience with formal qualifications and is currently preparing for the Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) exam, with plans to pursue the PMP® certification. His decision to join the PMI Switzerland Chapter stems from a desire to connect with professionals who are equally passionate about driving meaningful change within organizations and society at large.

Outside of work, Jim thrives on creativity. He has performed at the renowned Edinburgh Fringe comedy festival and he runs Dungeons & Dragons sessions professionally for children. Whether on stage or around a gaming table, he embraces opportunities to think outside the box and solve problems in imaginative ways.

John Squier - September 2025

John Squier

John Squier is a cross-functional technology and program leader with over 20 years of international experience spanning educational technology, IT infrastructure, and enterprise systems strategy. He currently serves as Global Director of Educational Technology at EF Academy, where he oversees digital systems and cross-campus operations across three international boarding schools in the U.S. and U.K.

John holds a Master of Science in Cell and Molecular Biology, which. alongside his current pivot toward project and operations leadership, has sparked a growing interest in Pharma and biotech initiatives, particularly in the Basel region. He is currently pursuing PMP certification through the IBM IT Project Manager program on Coursera.

A dual Swiss–U.S. citizen, John has lived and worked across four continents, including in Switzerland, Japan, Germany, Mali, and the U.S. He has led major platform transitions (Canvas, PowerSchool), designed IT infrastructure for new campuses, and built globally distributed teams. Beyond work, he is a dedicated marathon runner and an avid hiker, cyclist, and orchid enthusiast.

Joachim Gibisch - July 2025

Joachim Gibisch

Joachim Gibisch is a dedicated project professional currently contributing to the SAP S/4HANA transformation at Pilatus Aircraft Ltd. Within the Project Management Office (PMO), he plays a key role in test management, training coordination, and establishing a structured change management organization. His responsibilities also extend to supporting controlling functions and managing SAP licenses. In parallel, Joachim leads all SAP Global Trade Services (GTS)-related initiatives as a project manager, ensuring seamless integration and compliance across systems.

Joachim recently joined the PMI Switzerland Chapter, motivated by a desire to connect with professionals who see project management not just as a methodology, but as a mindset. As he prepares for the PMP certification, he looks forward to gaining new insights and sharing experiences within a vibrant and knowledgeable community.

Outside of his professional life, Joachim is passionate about endurance sports. Whether climbing alpine passes on his road bike or cross-country skiing through the Engadin, he thrives on physical challenges. He also has a strong interest in data-driven decision-making, particularly through tools like Power BI and Excel. His enthusiasm for trading and analytics reflects his belief in turning data into smart, actionable strategies

Mona Stockhecke - July 2025

Mona Stockhecke

Dr. Mona Stockhecke is a strategic and impact-driven project leader with a strong background in geoscience and digital transformation. Over the past five years, Mona played a pivotal role at Nagra, Switzerland’s national organization for radioactive waste management. She led initiatives ranging from 24/7 geological field operations and AI innovation to stakeholder management with nuclear regulators and the development of Switzerland’s first digital general licence application.

Currently, Mona is transitioning into her next professional chapter. While she is temporarily consulting through her own venture, Stockhecke Solutions, she is actively seeking a new long-term role where she can contribute her expertise in digital transformation, AI, and strategic project and change management. She joined the PMI Switzerland Chapter to connect with a like-minded community of project leaders, exchange insights, and continue growing within Switzerland’s dynamic project management landscape.

Outside of work, Mona is a passionate endurance athlete and certified running coach. She has completed numerous marathons, including a personal best of 2:31 and a victory at the Zürich Marathon. These experiences fuel her resilience and strategic mindset—both in sport and in leadership.
