Andrea Ziegler - November 2022

Andrea Ziegler

Andrea has more than 20 years of experience in international project management, mainly in international projects and in various industries such as medical devices or pharmaceuticals, manufacturing, services, event and construction.
In 2000, she founded her first company in Switzerland to support clients with international SAP implementations. Since then, she has gained extensive expertise in various roles, whether with her own startup, for implementation partners or for software vendors. She is currently the CEO of a company that has developed its own therapeutic medical device and supports clients in the regulatory environment with their IT strategies and projects.

With her eMBA degree in New Business Development, completed in 2021, she is deepening her knowledge of strategic management and developing new business ideas or expanding existing business areas.

Most recently, she supported the Regulatory Affairs team of a German medical device manufacturer for over three years in digitizing to prepare for MDR and building a new data model for registration activities, as well as by leading several Regulatory Affairs tenders to implement strategic tools to support daily global registration and sales activities and ensure product compliance in a highly regulated and competitive environment.

Besides family and friends, she loves the Swiss mountains and spends a lot of time hiking, climbing or skiing and sailing on the nearby Greifensee.

To prove that her project management skills are up to date, she completed the PMP diploma in August 2022 and joined the Swiss PMI chapter to network, share her expertise with colleagues and find new project and job opportunities.

Ece Sezgin Kestek - November 2022

Ece Sezgin Kestek

Ece is originally from Izmir, Turkey. She has an industrial engineering education. Ece started her career in the automotive industry as a quality engineer. After 7 years and lots of experience with OEMs( Audi, Porsche, Ford, Renault), with a large number of customers, VDA and IATF audits, she changed her position to the kitchen of the industry, to project management. She and her family moved to Bern, Switzerland in March'22, since then she has been amazed by beautiful Switzerland. Ece is currently responsible for change management in automotive industry as project manager, helping collaboration of a global team from US to India, Europe to China to adapt to the changes which is inevitable nowadays.

Ece is a member of PMI since 2021, simultaneously a PMP which provides her a widened view. She joined to Swiss chapter to meet other project managers to share knowledge and get to know new people.

In her free time Ece likes to jogging, learning new language, wrestling with her 3 years old boy.

Paula Armoa - November 2022

Paula Armoa

Paula is an international executive with more than 15 years of experience in the areas of public affairs, communications, operations, management consulting, and corporate strategy. She is very interested in technology and in how it can help to innovate business models and create more value to people.

For the last 10 years, she worked in a multinational FMCG corporation based in Switzerland, where she led several complex strategic initiatives (e.g. organizational design, transformation, business integration, service delivery). She is a licensed lawyer in Argentina and holds an MBA from IE Business School (Spain) and a Certificate of Global Management by INSEAD Business School (France).

She is living in Geneva with her family, and in her free time she loves getting to know interesting people and enjoying good food, wines, and beautiful landscapes. She speaks Spanish, French and English.

Paula got her PMP certification in August 2022 and joined the PMI Swiss chapter to network and support the community as a volunteer.

Luiz Back - October 2022

Luiz Back

Luiz is originally from Brazil, and graduated in production engineering, with focus on project management tools and techniques. He has more than 12 years’ experience on FMCG industry and he started his career working as project analyst, then shortly moved to project engineer and later on to project manager. On this last position Luiz finally also started his international career, moving to Portugal, where he stayed for around 5 years, while expanding his scope of work to projects across several different affiliates inside Philip Morris International. In 2020 Luiz moved to Switzerland where he took over the position of Manager Strategy for Assets & Capex.

Luiz lives in the city of Neuchatel, and loves spending the weekends exploring the different landscapes of this beautiful country, or relaxing by the lake where as a typical Brazilian, he usually grills some meat. Luiz also love sports, and he is very excited in living in a country where he can practice both summer and winter sports very frequently. Photography and music are his hobbies, so Luiz likes to dedicate some of his free time either to play his guitar or go somewhere to take some pictures.

Luiz is applying now for the PMP certification, and he joined the PMI Swiss Chapter since he wants to expand his professional network and share experiences with people from different backgrounds and different experiences. He also wants to further use the PMI platforms to learn new skills and improve the existing ones.

Davide Marano - October 2022

Davide Marano

Davide Marano is a researcher and technical project manager specialized in the creation of digital twins for medical and automotive industries.

He holds a master degree in Automation Engineering and Control of Complex Systems and a PhD in Advanced Mechanics from University of Modena and Reggio Emilia.

He is currently working as Technical Expert in SHL Medical AG, a world-leading solutions provider in the design, development, and manufacturing of drug delivery solutions. He has previously worked for Ferrari GT as technical lead in the Powertrain Simulation & Know-How Department and for KISSSoft AG as Technical Project Manager.

Davide is currently studying for the PMP certification and recently joined the PMI Swiss chapter because he would get to expand his professional network in Switzerland and keep up to date from the Project Management and Swiss Business perspectives.

He is originally Italian, now living in the beautiful city of Zug with his wife Gloria. In his free time, he enjoys playing the piano, hiking and sports in general, communicating with new people, cooking.
