Ryo Shimada

Ryo has 10+ years’ experience at higher education (university) in Japan as Administrative Officer. Although the job title did not change at all, the expertise entails Finance, Administration, and Project management. This is because for the first 5 years Ryo was an accountant at the Finance Office and for the rest of years, he managed a wide range of projects from international mobility to construction to IT at the International Office.

Ryo quit his job in Japan to enroll in Executive MBA at University of Geneva. He is going to finish it by the end of June this year.

Ryo has just obtained PMP a few days ago for proof of project management skills and career advancement. The prime reason to join the chapter is to know how project managers and practitioners demonstrate project management knowledge in their day-to-day work. Additionally, knowing new people in Switzerland will expand his interest and knowledge personally and professionally.

Ryo is a big fan of snowboarding. This season he joined an organization called "Freeride World Tour» and competed two times in Vervier. Living in Geneva and enjoying mountain life is fantastic. In his daily life, Ryo often enjoy craft beer and coffee by brewing filter coffee by himself

Gianmarco Sirei is a highly experienced Project Manager, specializing in shipping and logistics, with over 14 years of industry experience. Khatia Mishelashvili - June 2023

Khatia Mishelashvili

Khatia is 29 years old. She did her studies in Journalism, but her career didn't follow her profession.

Khatia has worked in PR management in her first years of study at Tbilisi State University.

Important period of Khatia’s career is connected to an international company, which hired her to lead the projects in the field like Tourism, Movie Production, Investment and Education. Khatia earned all her important skills there, and the company's trust made her believe in herself and to see that nothing is impossible.

Beside her jobs, Khatia used to be a guide for years, which led her to create her own tour agency. It was successfully operating in Georgia, until Khatia moved to Switzerland in 2020.

Khatia really enjoys working on projects, where she was responsible for its success from the beginning to the end.

Seeing the challenging environment in Switzerland, Khatia decided to prove her abilities in project management by obtaining PMP certification.

As Khatia lives in Switzerland, she wants to become a part of the PMI Switzerland chapter, which will help her to stay updated, meet people, gain new connections, follow the Swiss quality demand and share and learn more.

Anna Blanch Orteu - June 2023

Anna Blanch Orteu

Anna is 31 years old and she is originally from Spain. Anna holds a Bachelor's and a M. Sc. degree in Civil Engineering from the Polytechnic University of Catalonia in Barcelona. Subsequently, she pursued a Master's in Engineering in Construction Engineering and Management from the Illinois Institute of Technology in Chicago, Illinois. Upon graduation, she relocated to Dallas, Texas, where she dedicated five years of her career working at Webber LLC. An American construction contractor, known for its expertise in heavy civil projects. During her time at Webber LLC, Anna gained experience in construction management, specifically overseeing infrastructure projects, including bridges and highways.

Anna has recently relocated to Lausanne, Switzerland, where she works in the project management of tunnel projects at WSP - BG Consulting Engineers. Alongside her professional endeavors, she is also pursuing an MBA program at Hult International Business School, to deepen her knowledge in various business domains, acquire new skills, and develop a global perspective on business challenges and opportunities.

Anna is an ambitious and observant individual, always eager to learn new things. She focuses on process implementation, fostering team collaboration, and promoting transparent communication to achieve optimal results. Anna loves learning new languages and challenging herself. She speaks Catalan, Spanish, English, and French. She hopes to add Italian and German to her list of spoken languages in the coming years.

Outside of work, Anna enjoys skiing, hiking, travelling, trying new restaurants and she is interested in psychology and people's behaviors.

Anna joined the Swiss chapter of the Project Management Institute to listen to and share experiences that can help her grow as a professional and implement effective strategies at work.

Richard Rubli - June 2023

Richard Rubli

Richard is a 38 year old Swiss national, born and raised in the Caribbean island of Trinidad & Tobago. He has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the Edinburgh Business School, a Bachelor in Business Administration (BBA) from the University of New Brunswick and a Diploma in Electrical Electronic Engineering Technician (EEET) from City & Guilds. He is currently pursuing his Project Management Professional (PMP) qualification and will be sitting the exam in July 2023. His native language is English but has a basic proficiency in both German and Spanish.

With 15 years of experience in Sales, Marketing, Projects and Technical Service of medical devices, Richard is a dynamic professional able to achieve his strategic objectives by incorporating multiple disciplines and skillsets. He is currently employed in the medical division of a publicly traded conglomerate. For 3 years, he was the Service manager responsible for projects in the local healthcare industry including MRI, CT and Cath Lab installations. He is currently the Sales & Marketing manager responsible for the business activities of a Swiss Power Protection brand.

Richard is focused on a long-term career in Project Management and wants to be employed in key sectors including Energy, Manufacturing and Information & Communication Technology. He is a member of the PMI chapters for both the Southern Caribbean and Switzerland. He aims to gain practical knowledge and a network of PMP members from both chapters. His career goals are geared towards practicing Project Management on a global scale. On a personal note, he is a caring family man with a passion for Hard Rock music, Billiards and Fantasy novels.
