Andrew Price

Andrew is an aviation professional with more than 30 years of professional work experience in engineering, airlines, industry representation and IT. Andrew moved to Switzerland in 2005 to work with the International Air Transport Association and recently joined SITA, based in Geneva. He is also the customer experience advisor to the new airport, Solidarity Transport Hub, in Warsaw.

Andrew lives in Nyon with his wife and two children. Before Switzerland, Andrew was based in the UK and Netherlands.

From an education point of view, Andrew has a B.Eng (Hons) in Electrical and Electronic Engineering, a post-graduate diploma in Information Systems Engineering, and an MBA. He is currently taking a master's in Cyber Security. Andrew is a member of the British Computing Society (BCS) as part of his continued professional development in IT. Additionally, he hopes to complete the PMP certification in the next few weeks. He recently completed the live online training and is now hitting the books hard in the little spare time available to study.

Andrew has joined the chapter to learn more about the project management specialists in Switzerland and network with other professionals in the field. He hopes to meet people at face-to-face meetings and learn about your experiences.

Ahmed Shukry - October 2022

Ahmed Shukry

Ahmed is a Technical Project Manager working at UBS in the CDIO, Chief Operating Office in Zürich. With Egyptian roots Ahmed was born & raised in the State of Kuwait and currently based in Switzerland. Ahmed would describe his profile as PMI-term T-shaped, built around Business Process Management & Project Management.

Ahmed holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Kuwait in Business Administration & Marketing, a master’s degree in international business from KEDGE Business School in Bordeaux, France & a master’s degree in Information Systems & Business Process Management from the University of Liechtenstein.

His previous projects were mainly in Technology: Virtual Workplaces deployment, Infrastructure & software development, Regulatory Risk Reporting IT infrastructure & currently working on the CDIO Business Process Management & improvement.

During his preparation for PMP certification, Ahmed came to realize the power of the PMI community in the development and support of fellow PMP’s and immediately applied for the Swiss chapter. He would be looking forward to taking part in the various events organized by the chapter.

Francesco Guberti - October 2022

Francesco Guberti

Francesco is an IT project manager with experience in the fintech and luxury industries. Currently, he is a project manager working in particular with the Salesforce ecosystem at the luxury skincare company La Prarie, which is located close to Zurich.

Francesco was born near Milano in Italy, and then moved after the university studies to start his Project Management career in Switzerland. He is a double MSc alumnus from Bocconi University and Catolica Lisbon School of Business and Economics, and his academic background is in economics and management of innovation and technology.

He obtained the PMP certification in March 2022 and is glad to be part of the Swiss Chapter as he would like to get in touch with other professionals in the project management field. In his free time, Francesco performs various sports with a particular focus on running as he participated as a 100m and 200m sprinter in the national Italian athletic competitions.

Kaori Riveros - October 2022

Kaori Riveros

Kaori is French, but she lived almost half of her life in Latin America (Paraguay). She loves everything that has to do with cooking, research, processes and digital.

Kaori is specialized in human nutrition, marketing & project management, but she has been working for more than 5 years on IT projects.

Her objective this year is to pass the PMP certification and evolve as a Project Manager on different approaches.

Kaori moved to Lausanne at the end of July. She worked in Totalenergies in France, and now looking for some work opportunities in Lausanne or Geneva. She joined the chapter to meet people, as she does not have contacts in Switzerland and also to share experiences with other people for better adaptation on work, new ideas on working, methods...etc (as this will be her first experience working in this country).

Kaori is also thinking of volunteering with the chapter and reflecting on the PMO position once she arrives in Lausanne.

Mario Moscato - October 2022

Mario Moscato

Mario is 29-year-olds comes from the Deep south in Italy, Sicily.
He holds a BSc and MSc as Mechanical Engineer and after work experiences in Switzerland, Italy, Abu Dhabi, and Germany, in March 2022 Mario moved and settled his life here in Zurich. During this period Mario worked in the Oil & Gas business in Schlumberger, pursuing a Global Graduate Programme in the Operations field ( 6 months in Manufacturing, 6 months in Quality , 6 months in Supply Chain focusing on Operational Excellence projects) to conclude as Project Manager for multi-million Projects for Subsea Equipment for the Brazilian Market.

Since March 2022, Mario has works in the Beverage business as Lean Manager, focusing on improving the plant performances through either small activities or bigger projects. He works in parallel as Program Manager for all CAPEX investment projects in the plant, coaching and supporting every Project Leader during Project execution.

PMP was the right path for Mario to further develop his skills and immediately apply in his daily work what learnt from the PMP courses. He decided to join the Switzerland chapter to enlarge his network, keep up to date with PM topics and learn from experienced PMs their stories and suggestions for a brilliant career in this path.

Before joining university Mario tried a professional tennis career. In his words: “but my pragmatism (and probably lack of talent) brought me to a more secure path”. Currently he is looking for people to play tennis since it remains his hobby and looking forward to enjoying this land in winter for nice skiing sessions.
