PMI Switzerland Corporate Networking Group
Meeting at RUAG in January 2023, with CEO Brigitte Beck
Since 2010, the PMI Switzerland Corporate Networking Group (SCNG) has been the leading Swiss project management forum for best practice and thought leadership in project, program, portfolio, and change management practices.
Since inception, about 40 meetings have taken place, making the SCNG a very valuable organization for its members.
About the SCNG
Inspired by PMIs Global Executive Council, the SCNG brings together Swiss experts who are driving project management principles and practices at an organization level, including, but not limited to, heads of a corporate PMO, portfolio managers, project delivery leads, and academics.
Our activities
- Annually, three full-day conferences are organized, featuring presentations and discussions led by SCNG and PMI experts on member-selected topics.
- Through the SCNG, members have a platform to connect on an as-needed basis, consulting each other frequently. They often seek advice on specific subjects and meet to share experiences.

FAQ
The criteria are as follows:
- Member organizations should contain at least several dozen Switzerland-based project managers.
- Project Management practices should be driven by a centralized department or organizing body, such as a PMO, and have already implemented a standardized project management methodology.
- The person representing the organization should be responsible for implementation and development or project management at a company-wide level.
- Project Management practices should already be at an advanced maturity, and the organization should be open to sharing their ‘best practices’. By extension, Swiss academic institutions would need to be able to share relevant research.
- Companies with potential conflicts of interests (e.g. commercial) cannot become members of the SCNG.
