Increasingly, our world seems to expect a permanent state of positive innovation and is becoming dependent on it. What are innovations, and how do we create them? Can we plan them? Can we predict innovation successes from past histories? We will explore the role that narrative can play in innovation processes, the stories we create to make innovation happen and the stories we tell to make sense of it after it occurs with an interactive exercise. The aim of the workshop is to increase awareness of how narratives enable innovation and vice-versa and to foster a critical sense of innovation narratives.
How we negotiate usually determines the outcome of our project and how easily we reach its completion. Together with planning and monitoring, negotiating is an essential skill of every Project Manager.
This is why we invite you to an interactive session to test your negotiation skills playing a popular Italian card game “Merchant at the fair". Number of participants is limited to 20 so hurry up and register!
The roles and responsibilities of the project manager and the programme manager are very different, but both are essential in a complex organization. Understanding of these different roles and how to maximize this relationship leads to better outcomes at both the project and programme scale.
Our speaker, who has more than 30 years of international project management experience, discusses his personal transition from project manager to a programme management role: The challenges he faced as he moved out of the pilot’s seat and into the traffic control tower.
