IPM Day 2024: Level Up Your PM Skills: The Ultimate Project Management Challenge
The PMI Switzerland Chapter is excited to host an International Project Management Day (IPMD) event, in collaboration with our sponsor and partner, STS the Project Management Training Company (https://www.sts.ch/en/). Join us for an engaging nationwide SimulTrain® competition held across three locations in Switzerland: Zurich, Basel, and Lausanne. This thrilling event brings together project management professionals and enthusiasts for an intense and realistic project management simulation.
About SimulTrain®: SimulTrain® (https://www.sts.ch/en/simultrain/), developed by STS is a top-tier multimedia project management simulator. In teams of 3 to 5 participants, you step into the role of a Project Manager facing challenges that mimic real-world project dynamics. Quick decision-making impacts key project elements like cost, schedule, quality, and team morale, all within an intuitive and engaging interface.
Competition Details: During the competition, teams will tackle various situations typical for projects, including risk management, dealing with conflicts within the team, or taking decisions to deal with unexpected plan changes. Each challenge requires participants to consider key performance indicators (KPIs) and understand their interactions.
At the end, the” best” local teams and the best Swiss-wide team will be honored.
Assess your project management skills with other teams from Basel, Lausanne, and Zurich.
Multilingual: The attending teams can choose between English, French, or German for the simulation.
What’s in for you? In mastering the challenges of the project simulation, you will
- sharpen your project management skills
