Daniel Simonet is a technology leader and transformation executive with more than 25 years of experience driving innovation and large-scale change in global financial services. Throughout his career at UBS, he has successfully combined strategic vision, technical expertise, and people leadership to deliver complex business transformations while building and leading high-performing international teams.

As Crew Technical Lead for Mobile, Daniel leads a global organization of approximately 300 professionals across Europe and Asia, responsible for UBS’s mobile banking ecosystem and digital client experiences. His focus extends beyond technology delivery to creating an environment where talented teams can collaborate, innovate, and successfully navigate change in a fast-moving digital landscape.

A defining chapter of his career was his leadership role in the Swiss Credit Suisse client migration, one of the largest and most complex transformations in the history of Swiss banking. As Switchover Manager, he brought together numerous teams and stakeholders to successfully execute the migration of Swiss-booked clients to UBS, demonstrating his ability to align business and technology objectives under demanding circumstances.

Over the years, Daniel has led major initiatives spanning mobile and digital banking, client pricing, enterprise API strategies, investment advisory platforms, and credit risk management. He has been instrumental in modernizing UBS’s digital channels and shaping technology platforms that provide secure, scalable, and client-centric services.
