Mr. Cedric Kusendova is the Head of Engineering, Design & Construction of the United Nations, Strategic Heritage Plan. He joined the SHP project in 2019.

Prior to joining the United Nations, he led the Building Projects and Asset Portfolio Management team in the Logistics and Infrastructure Office of the European Commission in Brussels.

Before his role with the European Commission, Mr. Kusendova set up his own architecture and engineering practice and has collaborated with several other design offices on large-scale projects, including hospitals and mixed-use buildings in Europe and South East Asia.

Mr. Kusendova holds master’s degrees in engineering and architecture from the École Nationale Supérieure des Arts et Métiers and the École d’Architecture de Paris la Villette, both in Paris, France, as well as an executive master’s degree in management from the Solvay Brussels School in Brussels, Belgium.
