Annual Members Meeting 2024
Project Management Reimagined: AI's Revolutionary Role
With the advent of Generative AI (Gen AI), Project Management has become even more crucial, offering great opportunities and significant roles to play. In this new data-driven scenario, Project Managers have a distinct advantage with their in-depth understanding of business operations, strategy, and stakeholders, along with their ever-increasingly valuable 'Power Skills'. These skills, attributes and expertise are key to aligning AI projects with the company's core objectives. Project Managers are the strategists who can transform AI challenges into business success.
However, the rise of AI is set to transform the job landscape, potentially automating many roles in administration, legal, construction, and other areas. We are entering a landscape where maintaining relevance will require additional knowledge, a set of new skills, an adaptable approach, and a flexible mindset.
During this presentation we will explore how combined 'PM Culture' & 'Power Skills', and future professional development in the domain of AI, will equip Project Managers in remaining relevant in this evolving world."
