As we kick off the new year, we’re thrilled to share some exciting updates and news regarding PMI, particularly as it relates to your vital role as Project Managers.
Here's what's new and noteworthy:
PMI Infinity Launch
AI is the topic of the hour, the year, and especially crucial for project managers as the most important topic for the future.
Whilst there is much discussion about the potential negative consequences of AI, which is certainly justified, AI also offers numerous advantages for us as change-makers.
PMI is embracing this topic, with PMI Infinity being one such notable example. Whilst it may not yet be an all-in-one tool for PMs, it already provides many useful insights straightforwardly – without needing to know specific queries, like those required in ChatGPT. Pilot Training Program for PMI Volunteers
This program gives volunteers easy, curated access to the skills they need, both in their roles and in their lives. Ten volunteers have participated already, taking courses in areas like marketing, conflict resolution, content management systems, and more.
The pilot has ended successfully, and we are now working on a simple training process. Courses are selected by volunteers from a catalogue tailored to their roles using readily available online platforms. Should you be interested in enrolling into this program, stay tuned for news on the results and how to get involved.
At PMI Switzerland, we remain committed to keeping things fun and engaging for our members, moving beyond the conventional project management approach. We continue to ‘spice things up’ through continuous on-site and online events, workshops, and networking activities.
