Planning for success in Agile delivery

Agile - a buzzword in Project Management that has been a hot topic for the past years. With over 71% of organizations adopting it to their organization, Agile methods have been widely adopted as a project planning method for estimating work and delivering success.

  • Has your team recently adapted to Agile project planning?
  • Have you ever encountered issues in completing your sprints/work items?
  • What are your strategies in agile planning?

With the emerging trend on hybrid project plannings of Agile and Traditional - does your team practice this? Here’s an interesting paper titled The Project Management Cocktail Model: An Approach for Balancing Agile and ISO 21500 if you want to learn more about it.

In this forum, we would like to share with you real-life examples, experiences and help you resolve challenges when it comes to planning in agile.

About Open Spaces

A safe space to share experiences, tips, or discuss issues and questions you may have. We only have the topics that you bring. So do come armed with the real-life problems you want to be solved by your trusted expert colleagues.

It is as much about what is discussed, as experiencing the energy from this agile, unconventional, yet highly collaborative meeting format. You can even get involved further to learn and benefit more!

In addition, there will also be time for Networking at the end of the event.

Our the main principles

  • Safe room - thus no recording, you are free to share and it stays within the few people in your breakout room.
  • Introductions in the main room by all participants - we aim to allow 15 seconds per person which is enough to share: name/position/ company or industry / what you’re coming with; in one sentence. This helps everyone to know who is who.
  • In small breakout rooms, it is easier to open up to a few people than to many.
  • Participants bring their own topics to discuss.  More topics => smaller groups => better interaction and engagement.
  • In every breakout room, we want to ensure everyone gets a chance to provide at least some brief input into the question or issue.
  • We use the Slido tool to capture your suggestions in the Topics Backlog.

Whoever comes, is the right people.              Whatever happens, is the only thing that could have.
