NASA’s journey towards Project Management Excellence
Curious about NASA and its organisational excellence practices in Project Management?
Research shows that 80% of project teams failures are caused by flawed social context rather than individual project manager competencies shortfalls… so should we just stop all individual-based training? Probably not, but it surely is not enough to reach Project Management Excellence.
In this excellent evening event, Dr. Ed Hoffman has kindly consented to present his learnings and initiatives about how NASA, the greatest and biggest space exploration organisation, has implemented their best practices in Project Management.
In his role as Director of the Academy of Program/Project and Engineering Leadership (APPEL), Dr. Ed Hoffman has lead the United States Space Agency (NASA) through a major transition after a number of significant agency setbacks, including the loss of life and shuttle (Columbia disaster).
