Partner Organizations

The PMI Switzerland Chapter encourages partnership with other professional associations in the field of Project Management, Business Analysis, Process Management, Quality and other related fields. Partnership agreement allow PMI Switzerland Memberes to participate to Partners' events at reduced fee and vice versa. When suitable, co-organized events are encouraged to enrich both cross-functional knowledge and networking. As of today, PMI Switzerland Chapter is proud to maintain partnerships with the following organizations:

IIBA - Geneva ChapterIIBA - Geneva Chapter
The International Institute of Business Analysis (IIBA®) is an independent non-profit professional association serving the growing field of Business Analysis. IIBA was formed in October 2003 and, since April 2006, became incorporated as a non-profit association in Toronto, Canada. Today the association is active internationally with more than 12,000 members and over 90 chapters worldwide.

In Switzerland, both the Zürich and the Geneva Chapters enjoy a partnership with the PMI Switzerland Chapter.

SMP - Société suisse de Management de ProjetSMP - Société suisse de Management de Projet
The SMP (Société suisse de Management de Projet) and the PMI Switzerland Chapter are co-organizers of the "Congrès Romand du Management de Projet", the largest project management training event in Switzerland. SMP represents the IPMA association in the French speaking part of Switzerland. PMI Switzerland Chapter members benefit of the reduced partner fee at SMP events and the SMP members of the PMI Switzerland Chapter members fee at Chapter regional events.

The spm (Swiss Project Management Association) and the PMI Switzerland Chapter are co-organizers of the "Project Management Training Forum" in Zürich. The spm represents the IPMA association in Switzerland. PMI Switzerland Chapter members benefit of the reduced member fee at spm events and the spm members of the PMI Switzerland Chapter members fee at Chapter regional events.

The international institute of management in technology (iimt)provides several courses focusing on project management, both for students and for professionals. The PMI Switzerland Chapter collaborates with the iimt on an experience and services exchange basis, for the benefit of the iimt students as well as the chapter members. IBM is a member of PMI Global Corporate Council at worldwide level, working with PMI to foster international project management capabilities and standards. In Switzerland, IBM Switzerland has an agreement with the PMI Switzerland Chapter to actively promote Chapter events among its large community of project managers. IBM Switzerland is also the company with the largest number of Chapter volunteers and is a frequent host of Chapter events and other activities.
